The Fluted Islander Leg begins and ends with squares that provide beautiful visual contrast to the turnings that are presented between. Below the upper square, a pair of ringed turns introduces the upper portion of a turned and tapered shaft that is embellished with fluting. The fluted shaft finishes with a simple cylinder that is bordered on either side by a ringed turn that reflects the motif of the righted turns above the shaft. The entire leg completes beautifully on a substantial square.
