The Classic Spool Island Post is very much as the name suggests. Heftier more than delicate, it is a symmetrical design that is fitted on top and bottom with matching 5 3/8" x 3 ½" blocks. Between the blocks is the long spool cylinder that is separated from the blocks by beautifully inverted concave turnings that themselves begin and finish with turned rings. This leg is good choice for situations where something traditional with a sense of balance is wanted.
