The Islander Kitchen Island Leg design begins and finishes with durable squares. The square block is 6 3/4" and slightly longer than the 5 3/8" top square which gives this design a comfortable visual weight at the bottom. The entire leg is 34 1/2" tall and 6" wide. It has a gently tapering round center with an arrangement of turned rings on the top and bottom. These provide detail that can be used in a wide range of interior styles as it is simple yet sophisticated.
This wooden island post is perfect for supporting your kitchen island but it can be used in other applications, as well. The variety of wood species allows for unlimited customization options and each leg is left unfinished so that you can apply the stain or paint color of your choice to the exterior. I purchased island legs. They are solid wood, turned legs that look like furniture. The quality of the product is excellent. I recommend these to anyone finishing a kitchen island.

2022-07-28 Material: Hickory
All items received in good order. Very good detailing. Had just a few areas where glue laminations showed evidence of insufficient adhesive, leaving areas to fill. Not to be mistaken, these were not natural cracks inherent in Hickory, but dry joints at glue lines.
