The Islander Island Leg family design begins and finishes with squares. The square bottom portion about fifteen to twenty percent longer than the corresponding top square, which gives a comfortable visual weight to the bottom of the design. The portion between the square top and bottom consists of a gently tapering rounded turning that transitions from the square portions with a short arrangement of double rings. The top portion rings are closer together and the lower portion rings are slightly farther apart - again emphasizing a greater visual weight toward the bottom of the design.
