Our Grand Island Leg family offers an interesting design in which approximately the entire upper third is given over to a square. This square is then followed by two closely related turned rings before the primary turn begins. The primary turn is a very simple taper which terminates into a flat single turn that rests atop the finish: an abbreviated dimension of the initial tall square. The oversized upper square of a Grand Island Leg design lends itself to exaggerated aprons and deep drawers.
