Our standard Column Base is simple but it has been perfectly designed to provide a tasteful finish to your column design. The base becomes wider toward the floor, creating a sense of sophistication and adding unique dimension to your space. It has a simple turned ring that offers a decorative touch at the point where the piece transitions from narrow to wide. The simplistic beauty of this component allows it to be combined with a wide range of column designs. With a height of 5 1/4" and overall width of 10", this will make a subtle statement without being overpowering.
This column base is available in various unfinished wood types, depending on your preference. Choose from stain or paint grade options and finish the piece to perfectly accent your space.

Glued wood blocks shaped to column base design. Will be part of entry renovation on 1913 colonial. Happy to find the resource. Looks like solid quality. Plan to oil base prime before install to maximize weathering.
