The Williamsport finial is our version of the traditional acorn finial. At 6 1/2" tall and beautifully scribed, ours is a prominent interpretation of this seventeenth century favorite that is useful as a good way to finish exposed upper corners on cabinetwork, as the centerpiece on broken pediments, or to crown the upper corners of tester beds.
