Our Product

Our approach to quality control is to catch quality issues at the earliest possible point. Each person along the manufacturing chain has the power to reject poor quality items before he adds value to the product. A final inspection takes place immediately prior to shipping.

Occasionally, though, something slips through, and it is for this reason that we have a customer support person call each customer upon receipt of each shipment to confirm that our quality meets and exceeds their expectations. If she catches a problem, she reports it in detail, and we go back to the point at which the issue originated to work toward preventing the matter from occurring again.

Due to the hand-crafted nature of our products, measurements may vary slightly. Some species of lumber have unique characteristics and natural highlights.

The measurement method illustrated here is used on most items found in the on-line catalog. If the items are not the dimensions you need, ask us for a quote on custom turnings.

Our Service

It is our policy to help you find the furniture feet, table leg, corbel, or specialty item you are looking for. Whether it is an item from our catalog, or a custom piece from a drawing that we develop together; we want to be a part of making your ideas into realities. We offer almost all of our products in at least ten wood types; our staple wood types being cherry, alder, knotty pine, soft maple, hard maple, hickory, mahogany, red birch, red oak, and black walnut. Recently we also added Lyptus® for all of our turned items, and we also have rubberwood (also known as parawood) as a paint grade for many of our carved items.

It is our policy to ship every order as quickly as possible. Same day shipping is sometimes possible, but sometimes a longer delivery time is required. Occasionally an item is out of stock in a particular wood type, so please order with enough time to meet your deadlines. Our customers have shown us that communication is the foundation of excellence in service. When an order is delayed, keeping our customer updated on the progress of their order has proven to be valuable.
