Tomorrow is Rachel’s birthday! Rachel is fantastic and frequently provides us with sweets (except for the cupcake scandal you can read about below!), so of course we want to be sweet to her on her special day. Will, loving husband that he is, got her an ice cream cake!

Well the blog hasn’t been working for a while. But its up and running again!
Today was Russ’s birthday! Martha made us coconut cake! YUM! so good. Martha also had a birthday recently. Lots of cake! And more to come still! Russ tried to start a tradition where everyone signs over their checks to the birthday boy. Noah (who works part time) said that it would be fine with him. Especially since his birthday is coming up soon!
Last week we got to celebrate two birthday’s! Sherry was here with us on her birthday, which is a rare treat since she lives in North Carolina and our office is in Georgia.
Matthew also had his birthday this past week. Happy birthday to both of you!
Well today we had another birthday, well, actually Sam was the one who had it, and we all got the cake.

Last Friday we celebrated my dad’s birthday with some awesome cake, compliments of Martha. We didn’t have forks at first so we kind-of used our fingers until someone found forks. Today we celebrated David’s birthday, although it was also last Friday. Dad decided that since he and David shared a birthday that he only had to age half a year. I personally think that’s cheating… but whatever floats his boat.

We interrupt the excitement of the week with a grave announcement.
One of the wonderful people I have had the pleasure to know for the past many years has reached a point in his climbing of the hill, that we felt the need to celebrate. Not just another birthday, but that one birthday that we all fear and dread, the one which indicates we are half way to being a century old.
Join with us as we rejoice for our time with Cal, and how long he has been on earth.

Ok, so we celebrated a little early, Cal’s b-day is on Monday.
