Old World End Table

As I walked in, I noticed the cherry raised panels encircling the wall. It was evident that one of the top designers had put this room together. The globe that added the blue accents was perched prominently by one of the two overstuffed cordovan leather chairs. The bookcases, the desk and even the window coverings screamed success. And there in the midst of it all was this lovely end table. But, what was so striking about it was that it was constructed with the most beautiful legs. The legs were gently tapered, but also reeded to give that sense of height and continuity. And the turnings--the turnings were superb in every way. I felt like a king standing in the midst of this immaculate room.
