The Colonial Coffee Table leg, part 1321, sporting a full 3 ½ diameter on the square, has been a steady choice of furniture makers all over the country. The design pays homage to the Colonial Period of furniture design, which took place around 1700-1790. During this period many of the pieces made were by individual craftsman using a multiplicity of wood types, which has also been a tradition of the craftsmen of Osborne Wood Products, Inc. The Colonial Coffee Table is no exception to spools and curves which characterized many pieces of this period. The subtle bun foot adds a delicate touch. To produce the colonial motif, the designer often combines the Colonial Coffee Table Leg with the Colonial Dining Table leg as well as the Colonial End table leg.
