Our Heritage Coffee Table leg, 1326 is a slightly more robust version of our 1316 Heritage. The 2 3/4 diameter is more than adequate with the added strength of stretcher constructions. Hand crafted stretcher tables have a long history, gracing many a historic building. Tables constructed in the old country around 1550 to 1700 often sported the stretcher form of construction. Welch tables, in the 17th century were formed with excellent joinery using either the H shaped of simple end stretchers to create a strong form of construction, adding strength of design to the already graceful Heritage Coffee Table Leg, part 1326. Such construction is also perfect for dinning tables, coffee legs, kitchen islands, and vanities.
