Our Heritage Coffee Table leg, 1336 is simply robust. The 3 1/2 diameter is more than adequate, even for coffee tables that sport 2” – 3” tops. With the addition of stretchers, it can withstand the rigors of being moved, dragged, stacked and abused in many ways. Use of the Heritage Coffee Table leg with stretcher construction is reminiscent of the old country, dating back to around 1550 to 1700. Welch tables, in the 17th century were formed with excellent joinery using either the H shaped of simple end stretchers to create a strong form of construction. This decorative and hardy form of construction is complemented by the Heritage Coffee Table leg, our part 1336.
