Abaco Island Post Half Leg

The Abaco Island Post is a striking piece of taller turned work. Beginning with a 6" tall square block, the leg moves downward with two stylized turnings that are reminiscent of spinning wooden tops. The shaft of the leg follows: a tightly tapered cylinder that reflects the shape of the tops above. The tapered shaft is interrupted by a shallow cube shape before finishing with a dramatic stiletto taper.
