Roped Island Leg Three Quarter Leg

As the name suggests, the Rope Island Leg family is designed with a rope turning as the primary motif. This is a perfectly symmetrical design that begins and ends with squares in balanced dimensions. Between the squares, a pair of ringed turnings separated by a concave turn flanks either end of the central shaft. The central shaft is, of course, the beautiful and heavy rope turning from which the series takes its name. The Rope Island Leg design offers a wonderful opportunity to give rhythm and quiet motion to a design.
