Extended Wilmington Island Leg Three Quarter Leg

The Wilmington Island Leg family presents a traditionally handsome design. About fifteen percent of the upper portion of the design is given over to a square that gives way to a series of beefier turns before settling down into the primary ornamental turn. This primary turn finishes with a single ring, indention and protrusion that subtly reflect the motif established above the primary turn. This sophisticated reuse of the previously seen motif adds a quiet harmony to the design while avoiding strident and obvious design repetitions.
