Our standard column base is quiet but perfectly designed for a tasteful finish for your column shaft. The wider bottom of the base steps in slightly about half way up the side to the dimension that perfectly meets the bottom of the shaft of your column. A simple turned ring sets off the transition from wider to narrower. This base is a perfect choice for understated column installations.
