| #1709: 35 1/2 x 5 As we ambled through the door of the B&B something caught our attention. The island in this kitchen was just so perfect in every way. The pale yellow color that must have endured steady use for decades. . . the distressed surface that had seen years of wear. This island must date back to the late 1800's, I surmised. I asked my host at the bed and breakfast where he found such an impressive antique. "Oh, that. I made that last week in my shop out back. How do you like it?" He asked. "Like it, I would pay thousands for that," my wife piped up. "Well, let me get online and place an order for 4 Massive Wilmington Legs in maple from Osborne Wood Products and I'll get started," stated the host and, evidently, master craftsman. This is going to be quite a week, I thought to myself.
