6 Inch Two Sided Taper

When I look at 2-sided tapered feet, I always think they look funny. But, you know what? When they are placed on a piece of furniture they look really cool. It always amazes me that the individual parts of something can look so out of place, but then all placed together they make perfect sense and look great. I was making a little side chest the other day, and I struggled with what to use as feet. I tried several bun feet, a built up Ogee base, and yet, nothing seemed to work. I had even moved some 6 inch 2-sided tapered feet out of the way - discounting them immediately - to get to my stash of bun feet. But nothing looked right. Just out of curiosity, I put one of the tapers underneath the chest. Voila! It was exactly what I needed. Who knew?
