Spanning the entire width of the Chesapeake Bay, the Lucius J. Kellam, Jr. Bridge-Tunnel (also known as the Bay Bridge) is an attractive masterpiece of human engineering and ingenuity. The gigantic suspension towers hang concave cables that complete the classic suspension bridge portrait. The Chesapeake Corbel seeks to imitate this portrait in a graceful yet distinct way.
