Production Lead

Osborne Wood Products, Inc., an innovative growing local company, is seeking a production manager that is highly motivated.

Requirements:

  • Associates with a minimum 2 years of experience or Bachelor’s degree.

  • Creative problem solver.

  • Must have been involved in putting together a project.  (personal or professional)

  • Strong Leadership skills.

  • Must have a strong sense of urgency.

  • Good computer skills using various computer software and display ability to pick up a working knowledge of other software programs easily.

  • Capacity to motivate others.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent presentation/communications skills.


    Activities will include but not limited to:

  • Provides direct supervision of assigned employees

  • Ensure compliance with the plant policies and procedures.

  •  Continuously improve safety; quality, and productivity through brainstorming sessions and monitor progress

  • Confers with management personnel to establish production and quality control standards.

  •  Promote ideas and proposals persuasively and energetically

  •  Reviews and analyzes production, quality control, maintenance, and operational processes to determine operating or production challenges and to implement and monitor process improvements.

  • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of team members.

  • Lead department in continuous improvement efforts to reduce set up times, on time part production and improved quality goals.
  • Oversee product flow by prioritizing needs of customers to get all work done in a timely manner with the objective of producing all parts on time.
  • Lead by example with daily production responsibilities handled with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Increase understanding of department work flow by observing operators, machines, and state of affairs by participating in production activities.

Compensation - Pay based upon experience.
