Shipping Inventory Control Clerk-Part Time

Requirements:

  • Proficiency with using various computer software and the ability to pick up a working knowledge of other software programs easily
  • Problem solving skills with a dedication to finding out why things go wrong instead of just fixing the problem
  • Ability to multi-task
  • High degree of mathematical skills.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize activities in the work environment
  • Must be available for day shift work Tuesday - Friday (8:00 am to 12:00pm)
  • Proficient keyboarding, minimum 25 words per minute
  • Required Tools: An accurate metric and standard tape measure at least eight (8) feet in length
  • Consistent, punctual attendance in compliance with company policies

Activities:

  • Job includes performing inventory control tasks/procedures including but not limited to counting inventory, investigating any inventory discrepancies to find out why they occurred and what corrective action/training needs to be done, recommending corrective action and doing training where inventory discrepancies resulted due to not following established procedures.
  • Additional job responsibilities assigned by your manager

Compensation - $13.00 per hour
