Marketing Intern

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Capacity to learn Adobe Photoshop
  • The ability to pick up a working knowledge of a CRM, a website CMS, basic HTML, web-based programs such as an email marketing client
  • The ability to multi-task and organize/prioritize projects
  • Familiarity with search engine optimization and other online marketing strategies is preferred
  • Naturally fluent public speaking skills
  • Must be resourceful
  • Familiarity with basic reporting functions
  • Familiarity with advertising strategies—both digital and print—is preferred
  • Consistent, punctual attendance in compliance with company policies
  • Activities will include but not limited to:

  • Copywriting
    • Website copy
    • Press Releases
  • Sales and Marketing Reporting
    • Reporting on the effectiveness of campaigns
    • Reporting on specific customers
  • Marketing Research
    • Understand the Industry
    • Research competitors’ strategies
    • Research product trends
    • Develop reports to communicate research and potential action
    • Research emerging customer-facing techniques for e-commerce
  • Customer Service
    • Customer Satisfaction follow up calls
  • Additional job responsibility’s assigned by your manager

Every intern will champion their own project within their related department. This will be developed at the start of the internship.
