Custom Vanity Project Using Queen Anne Style Legs
Ed H. of New York recently purchased five of the Winged Corner Queen Anne Legs (Part #6145) in soft maple. Ed had plans to build a beautiful bathroom vanity, based on the design of the vanity in his home. Let’s take a look at what Ed had to say about his latest design:
“The project was to replace two wall mounted sinks in the ladies room at the Oneida Community Golf Club with something which would be a bit more dignified. I used the vanity at home as my model and for my first attempt, feel it came out pretty good. The things that really set it off are the Queen Anne legs. Putting the special legs on it really made it pop. Otherwise it would just be an ordinary piece of furniture. I’ve received many comments on how well it came out and several of the “did you really build that or is it a kit”. Next project is one for the men’s room but that may have to wait until winter but the first thing on my to do list is order the legs from Osborne Wood Products. It was a fun project and I look forward to building my second one.”
We can’t wait to see photos of your next vanity, Ed! These photos are amazing. Thanks for sharing!
