Kitchen Island Features Osborne Corbels

Kitchen islands and bars are the center of the kitchen space. This is where guests come to sit and watch the master chef at work, a place of gathering and also for preparing meals. Our friend Steve knew this when he was creating the perfect island in his home and is why he decided to have such a large overhang on the end of this counter so that they could have extra seating opportunity.

Steve chose to use our Miniature Classic Corbels in order to create extra support for this grand overhang. According to Steve, “The corbels are firmly attached to the base cabinet to support the counter top overhang. It was necessary to add them since the overhang was greater than the counter top manufacturer’s recommendation.” Steve seems to be very pleased with how this design turned out and we love it! It looks fantastic and it’s the perfect way to help support your awesome counter!
