Our friend Sean ordered a table skirt set using 4 of Osborne’s Transitional Country Dining Table Legs (Part #1111) in the paintgrade soft maple. He was very happy with the quality, saying “Everything arrived sooner than expected and in good condition. I was impressed with the quality of the product. Even with my admittedly limited ability as a carpenter, everything went together without any problems and fit very well.” The Transitional Country Legs are a modified version of the Old English Country Dining Table Legs (Part #1110). With a shorter square, stretched turning, and softer foot, the classic design adds a warming home appeal that will make any table feel welcoming. Additionally, it has a simple and functional silhouette which allows this rustic leg to fit into almost any room setting.

This leg is available in several wood types, so there is sure to be one for any project! The soft maple Sean choose provided a smooth surface and tight grain for the white paint he used. By ordering it with a table skirt kit (which comes with all the legs and skirt premilled, and the hardware for assembly) Sean also saved a great deal of time and effort to put a sturdy, high quality base together for his table! For the top, he used a workbench top from Home Depot and gave it his own side edging.

Sean summed up his project with a simple: “After assembly and paint, I am very happy with the final product.” And he should be- it is one incredible table!
