A Classic Addition to a Cozy Fireplace

The nights have been cooling off in North East Georgia. In the early morning you can smell wood smoke from neighbor’s fire places keeping the chill at bay. There are few pleasures in life quite like enjoying an evening at home in from of a crackling fire. In light of our fondness for the comfort of a cozy fire, we were delighted to have Everett share his latest project with us!

Everett’s fire place is absolutely beautiful, tucked between book shelves. As lovely as it is, Everett realized that it needed something more so he added this classic mantel. He incorporated our Transitional Dentil Moulding (Part #891665) to add detail to the mantel. We love how this added to the appeal of this beautiful mantel.

We are constantly amazed with the projects that our customers share with us. Often, these are the first attempts at something new. Everett shared that he hasn’t built a mantel before, but could tell that his fire place was just begging for something more. We think his first attempt was brilliant!
