Cabinet Renovation Includes Bamboo Moulding for Oriental Vibe

This cabinet is definitely worthy of a double-take, especially when you see it side-by side with the BEFORE and AFTER images below. It is so fun to look at all the individual changes that helped create the finished masterpiece.

We especially love that this bold renovation uses Osborne’s Half Round Rustic Bamboo Moulding, part 891385. Our friend Catherine from Bluffton, SC shared these great photos that nicely show her handiwork, and her great skill in taking a cabinet with understated potential to a beautiful work of art. There are so many fine details that rocket this cabinet from slightly frumpy to exquisite. Gone are the flowers, the fussy colonial top decorations, and the boring cream color. In is a sizzling red-orange paint, a beautiful tapered top, complete with a crown-like finial, and of course gold-touched bamboo moulding everywhere! And the delicate Oriental flowers and birds on the backsplash are such an authentic touch. Nice work Catherine!
