Create & Babble Blog Shows Off Creative DIY Talent!

We just love seeing the creative ways our products our used! This summer, we at Osborne participated in the Haven Conference for DIYers in Atlanta, GA. We met some amazingly talented folks at the event. We were also able to participate in the annual Haven Swag bags (a crowd favorite)!

In the bags, our DIY friends would find gifts from sponsoring companies including Osborne Wood Products. This year our Embossed Rosette Ornaments (Part #890314) were featured. We just couldn’t wait to see what our friends would create using these stunning accents.

Today, we would like to feature a design from our friend Jeanie at Create and Babble. Jeanie dove into her Swag bag and created not just 1, but 2 great designs! We may be a little biased about our favorite one though.

Jeanie used these ornaments to create a country chic wooden box design. The box is perfect for adding flowers and other decorative pieces to create a stunning centerpiece, or to add to an entry way or hall way table. The box was created simply from thin plywood scraps, but in the end looks like a high end design! See more photos of Jeanie’s wooden box design, as well as other great projects on her blog.
