Osborne Hosts First Annual Founder’s Day

On July 15, 2022, Osborne Wood Products, Inc. celebrated its first annual Founder’s Day! This celebration and sale marked over 43 years of business for the company which opened its doors in July of 1979 in Toccoa.

The entire day was filled with activities, beginning at 7:30 AM with an employee meeting and the first of many sales becoming live on the website. Customers were able to purchase products at 20% off with the discounted items changing every hour. Sales continued throughout the day, ending at 11:30 PM. From smaller pieces such as moulding all the way up to full table kits, this was an incredible opportunity for customers to grab items they have been wanting to complete their renovations!

Along with the sales, employees were celebrated throughout the day. Food was provided for morning and afternoon breaks, and they were able to participate in a “Lunch and Learn” event on campus. Kelly O’Shields of Family Collection discussed the Mentoring Program available with the Stephens County Public School District. This is a paid opportunity for Osborne employees. Employees appreciated the opportunity to learn about the program while enjoying a full lunch provided by the company.

Osborne also uploaded exclusive video content to their social media pages (Facebook and Instagram) throughout the day. This included livestreams featuring department managers and CEO Leon Osborne. Overall, this event was well-received by all and we look forward to an even better celebration next year!
