Dining Table & Bench Make the Perfect Christmas Gift

Our friend Jason of J&S Handcrafted Design has been very busy building some amazing furniture this year! We’ve seen many stunning farm table photos from Jason. Today, I’d like to feature a new table design. Jason tells us that this was the first time he had combined the Country Squire Dining Table Leg (Part #1130) and the Shanty to Chic Coffee Table Leg (Part #1331). He did tell us that the pair “seem to complement one another well.” We couldn’t agree more!

Jason chose pine as the wood type for his table and bench project. The pine allowed him to incorporate a stunning, one of a kind, rustic finish. For the table, Jason chose to apply a dark stain to the table top and bench seat. Then, he added a delightful contrast to the apron and table legs. Finishing the table legs a distressed white, Jason achieved a stunning country finish.

Jason told us that this table now graces the home of one of his happy clients. He was commissioned to build this stunning ensemble as a Christmas gift for his client’s wife. I’m sure she was very happy with this beautiful table!
