Dream Table Features Glass Top and Acrylic Legs
Our friend Stephanie at Carpe Diem Events in Livonia, MI, shared some photos of her “dream table” that she built using Osborne’s Caledonia Acrylic legs, part 342755. As you can imagine, the clear table will create a lot of magic for the special events they have–clearly! The table definitely inspires some double-takes, as you ask yourself how the items on the table can simply float with no support!? The clear top and legs are super-strong and sturdy, capable of holding a great deal of weight.
The Caledonia Acrylic legs feature a wood top block for easy mortise and tenon joinery on a standard wood table, but clearly our friends at Carpe Diem Events adapted the wood legs to attach securely to the glass top. You may be able to see how the legs are attached to the top–large suction cups! They provide a powerful seal that keeps all four legs attached securely to the glass top. We are so excited to share this beautiful concept table, it really is one of a kind!
