RVA Historicals Creates Industrial Coffee Table

Our friend Debra from RVA Historicals chose our hairpin coffee table legs in a steel finish for a recent coffee table design. Here’s what Debra told us about the project: “(this is the) Industrial warehouse coffee table. The top of this table is extremely rare 3″ thick tongue and groove Tobacco Row warehouse flooring. The Virginia heart of pine flooring came out of the 2nd floor of the Kanawah storage warehouse along Tobacco Row in Richmond, Va. This warehouse was built in the early 1850’s, withstood the Civil War and was in use up until around 1980. It is currently being restored and converted into loft apartments. 3″ thick flooring is extremely rare and was made with this thickness for the storage of heavy loads of tobacco prior to shipping. This stunning top has been accented with a touch of modern – beautiful mid century modern hair pin legs from Osborne.
