Representative Andrew Clyde visits Osborne Wood Products, Inc.
Last month, Georgia 9th District Congressman Andrew Clyde visited Stephens County through coordination of the Stephens County Development Authority. On February 19, 2021, Clyde traveled around Toccoa and Osborne Wood Products, Inc. was honored to be one of his stops.
Osborne staff were on hand to provide an exclusive tour of the facility for Representative Clyde, District Director Joel Katz, and Constituent Services/Field Representative Charlie Barrett. This tour focused on Osborne’s commitment to customer satisfaction and remaining competitive in an international industry by showcasing customer service, drafting, shipping and technology implementations. The production department provided demonstrations for Congressman Clyde and his team of CNC machining and customization procedures.
President and CEO, Leon Osborne, also took part in the tour providing an inside look at the history of Osborne Wood Products and the challenges that still remain. Congressman Clyde has his own company, Clyde Armory, that started much like Osborne Wood Products – in a garage. They further discussed the company’s procedures for importing, exporting and navigating COVID-19.
