Lift-Top Hardware Turns a Coffee Table into a Desk or a TV Table.

Our friend John at Do It Better Woodworking sent us some photos of the lift table that he built using the hardware, as well as a great video. When used to attach a table top to a coffee table base, the lift hardware can turn a regular table into an instant desk or TV tray table with just a simple tug on the top. The table top locks in place when open, then closes with a gentle tug on the table top. The top gently lowers and then closes with a soft close.
