Island Legs Attach Directly To A Stone Countertop

We are pretty impressed with the genius attachment of these two island legs to support a large overhang. We received these lovely photos from Noah Hart from Roseville, CA. Taking center stage in this beautiful setting is Osborne's Braselton Kitchen Island Leg, part 158658, which is beautifully tapered with a sharp groove around the neck of the leg. Notice there is no skirting frame that attaches to the existing cabinet in order to support the overhang. Instead, Noah simply screwed down into the top of the leg through the plywood support boards before attaching the Corian top. The Corian nicely hides the screws which firmly attach the legs to the countertop. We thought this was a pretty slick way to attach wood legs to a stone top, which is not an easy job!
Osborne Wood Products carries a wide variety of island legs starting at 34 1/2″ tall. Our hand-crafted styles include traditional, reeded, twisted, contemporary and mission. These legs can be applied to a cabinet face or stand alone to support a countertop, peninsula, a raised table or a center kitchen island. Each wooden leg is sanded to 150 grit and unfinished.
