Kitchen Work Station Supported by Osborne Island Posts

A kitchen design can be both functional and stylish. The possibilities for creating your dream kitchen are virtually endless! Some prefer a center island with seating and work space, while others prefer to have a mobile island for working and entertaining. Today, I’d like to feature a stunning mobile kitchen island (or work station) from our customer Vivian. Vivian chose the Grand Harvest Island Post (Part #1416) in pine. The Grand Harvest legs were a perfect option for Vivian’s dream design! The profile of this island post is simple, yet adds grace and beauty to the design. The width is the perfect size for supporting the island, and making the design aesthetically beautiful. The bottom square of the legs allowed for a bottom shelf to be applied to the design, creating additional functional space. Finally, the bottom of the leg easily accepted the casters Vivian added. Now the island is functional, beautiful, and mobile!

Vivian finished the island posts, shelf, and apron pieces in a dark finish, while leaving the top a light natural hue. The contrast is stunning!
