The Homestead - One of America's Most Beautiful Places
Customers looking for a unique and beautiful place to spend their holidays this year would do well to consider The Homestead Resort in Glen Arbor, Michigan. Situated on 350 acres of of land a mile from Michigan’s Sleeping Bear Bay, the resort is perfectly situated near Crystal River, the Sleeping Bear Dunes, the North and South Manitou Islands, and the Manitou Passage, which hosts a well-known shipwreck preserve to more than 150 wrecks. Built in 1932, the resort hosts year-round recreational facilities, a spa, health and fitness centers, restaurants, and shops. Recently, the Homestead completed a new salon: Lillyjade.
Osborne Wood Products, Inc. was very pleased to be able to have a hand in the design of the new salon by supplying the Island Hutch Island Posts (Part #1463) which can be seen in the following photographs. The spas at the Homestead are well known for extensive outdoor spaces such as terraces, gardens, waterfalls, fireplaces, and pools. Earth-friendly materials, relaxing colors, and art from local original artists add to the feelings of relaxation and tranquility as do the many accommodations available to spa goers such as massages, facials, pedicures, and manicures. Just one of many spas and “special treats” at the Homestead, Lillyjade will surely be met with much acclaim.
