Unique Kitchen Island Adds Dimensional Beauty

Today’s featured photos come from our customer Tom R. Tom wanted a unique, aesthetic and structural piece to add to his new kitchen island under the counter top. Finding Osborne Wood Products, Tom chose island legs that would add the perfect texture and design to the piece: Classic Reeded Island Posts (Part #1456)

Here is what Tom told us about his project:
“Recently we used Osborne Reeded island posts to modify our kitchen floor cabinets prior to installing a new granite counter. These posts are more than cosmetic. My wife and I wanted something other than standard corbels to support the 12″ granite bar overhang and used steel supports anchored to the inside of the cabinets and extending through a channel cut into the top of your island legs. This provided the support and just the right solid and refined look for our kitchen renovation. We are very pleased with the result. Thank you for your help with our project.”
