Osborne Visits Atlanta for IWF 2022
The International Woodworking Fair took place August 23-26, 2022 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA. Various members of the Osborne team were able to attend the event and interact with thousands of attendees. This event is the largest of its kind in North America and allows top manufacturers from across the world to showcase their products and services to the woodworking industry.
The fair offered an incredible opportunity to meet existing and prospective clients. “It was great to see so many customers that we hadn’t seen for a few years,” stated Leon Osborne, CEO of Osborne. “It was equally satisfying to meet with potential customers who were excited to learn about our same day shipping and no minimum order quantity.”
The team also shared the latest products and initiatives with the attendees, such as a new catalog and table leg designs. The ability to meet with customers face-to-face and receive feedback was one of the most rewarding aspects of the event. “The greatest moment is that our customers shared their experience with us and expressed their gratitude,” Diana Jackson, customer service representative explained. “They really do appreciate the sense of urgency that we have.”
Overall, the event was a success for the Osborne team. Leon Osborne concluded by saying that “IWF provided the opportunity to connect individuals with Osborne resources that make sense in their business context including our ongoing commitment to providing the widest selection of stock components with the capacity to create fully custom products.”
IWF is scheduled to return to Atlanta in 2024. It is one of several shows attended by Osborne each year. Upcoming events include Chicago Build, Wood Pro Expo Lancaster, and Kitchen and Bath Canada in October of this year.
