This molding goes between the sections of a bookcase that do not have a center stile, just the 2 3/4" sides of the sections meeting. It covers the joint, provides some interest to a long (78") joint. Generally looks cool. They were painted to match the bookcases with an air sprayer and the detail stayed intact.
