The Solaris Acrylic Leg is an elegant combination of wood and acrylic elements. It features a wooden top block and tapered wooden base separated by a durable acrylic center. This 34 1/2" tall and 3 1/2" wide leg will definitely grab the attention of your guests due to its unique makeup. The blend of materials allows it to be used in anything from traditional to contemporary homes.
The wooden components of this piece are offered in various wood species, depending on your preference. They can be stained or painted to achieve your desired look. We also carry a 35 1/2" tall version of this profile, the Tall Solaris Acrylic Leg (Part #2754) for your larger projects.
Finishing and Assembling Your Legs
Please note that the acrylic can be adversely affected if not protected when you finish your wood components.
Be sure to keep them separate when finishing. Once the wood elements have been stained, painted or finished, you may assemble the leg by inserting the threaded metal rod into the lower wood element before loading the acrylic center onto the rod, followed by the final or top wood element. Join the washer and nut at the top of the leg, and tighten with a 9/16" socket wrench.
