The Fluted Column Leg will add an architectural look to your kitchen design. A flute is an ornamental design used in columns dating all the way back to Roman, Greek, and Corinthian Architecture. It remains a popular pattern today as the intricate carvings are simple yet appealing. This 35 1/2" tall design boasts an attractive symmetry with top and bottom blocks. In between these blocks are the cylindrical shaft with the fluted design. They are a little different from other fluted pieces as the carvings do not connect all the way to the top of bottom of the column. The shaft and blocks are separated by decorative turnings. This leg is 4 1/8" wide, providing plenty of strength to your build. The square blocks allow for additional flexibility in your design as they can support drawers, shelving, railing, table skirting and more.
Choose from numerous wood species when purchasing this profile, depending on your preference and build requirements. The unfinished leg will be ready for you to add wood stain or paint for a custom look.
