Product Description:Based on the influences of European style furniture and decor, the Old English Country Dining Table Leg features elegance and style unlike any other leg. It has stunning turnings that are clearly influenced by Europe and Great Britain (old world) furniture.
The delicate turnings combined with the perfectly placed longer top square give this table leg a sense of dignity and grace. The stretched top square (at 7 1/2") allows the craftsman room for creative freedom. A top block at this size can easily accommodate a custom table base, apron, or even shelving and drawers.
The bottom of the wooden leg gives a feeling of old country furniture. The piece ends in a delightful bun-like furniture foot that delicately touches the floor. This 29" tall, 3 1/2" wide leg is an example of elegance and sophistication, easily complimenting styles ranging from classic and traditional to country and rustic.
A delightful modification of this leg that creates a more primitive rustic feel is the Transitional Country Dining Table Leg (Part #1111). It uses similar design elements with slight differences to set it apart.
