Concord Island Legs Work Great on Four or Six-Legged Designs

A huge thank you to our friend Henry at Rocky Pines Cabinets in VA for sharing a few of his recent build with us! These two kitchen islands have similar aesthetics but are completely customized to fit the needs of each client. Both designs use a Concord-style leg, such as the Massive Concord Kitchen Island Leg (Part #1473), to add impressive craftsmanship and functionality to the build.

We offer this popular profile in a wide variety of sizes, including heights ranging from 18" - 40 1/2" and widths ranging from 3" - 6". Two different sizes were used for each of these builds - a huskier design on the 4-legged island and a slightly narrower leg on the 6-legged one. The stretcher block on the bottom of the Concord legs were imperative in each kitchen island design. Both feature bottom shelves as storage solutions.

The painted finish pairs beautifully with the wooden countertops to create a stunning modern farmhouse look. Thanks again for sharing, Henry!
