The Athens Bar Corbel features hand-carved curves and scrolls. Measuring 12 ¼” tall, 8” deep, and 3 ½” wide, this classic corbel will introduce subtle detail and dimension to your home. Use this corbel to transform the look of your kitchen, living room or dining room. It can be placed underneath countertops for support, adorn fireplace mantels or hold up shelving. It can even be used to build a beautiful bar!
This corbel has:
- Vertically-mounted keyhole openings on the back allowing for easy mounting
- Several wood types to choose from, including a paint grade option
- Hand-carved details
- A smooth surface that has been sanded to 150 grit
This corbel enhances any space with its classic, organic design. Like many of our Classic Corbels, it features an ‘S’-shaped scroll carving with a slightly offset center, creating a piece with the perfect amount of detail.

The corbels are gorgeous. I will be using them on my fireplace. I have painted them and distressed them. They would be beautiful just stained or sealed as well.
