Happy Birthday to Jonathan!!
My beloved brother is now ancient.
I’m so kind I know. hehe.
Ahhhh… the racks are being put up in the new boxing area. Its soooo nice. I’ll get some pictures to put up here soon. Its always nice when progress is being made.
Happy Birthday Olga! And Happy Birthday Dennis! Although… that last one was a day late. This week is birthday week! Of course SOMEHOW (don’t know how) I’ve managed to miss two of the b-day cakes. hehe. I guess that will help me keep from getting fat.
jk
Will and Jonathan are planning the rest of my life… sanding, working on the lathe, and cutting half dowels… and a few more things.
We’ve had to second off a few products which heard too many jokes, as Will and I discovered.
“Will, this one here has heard too many jokes, it cracked up!”
“It must have been a real side splitter”
And later when I pointed out another piece had heard too many jokes, since it was all cracked up he was like, “You WOOD think of that, your humor goes against the grain.”
Well, lets hope that only my humor goes against the grain and not my soon to be sanding.
hehe.
I also heard rumors of the business donating some money to support a local art museum. Matthew said that they show all sorts of art and wood carvings. There address is www.fairbanksmuseum.org
Yesterday when I was leaving the shop I discovered a school bus out there. An empty school bus. Matthew just informed me that they were here for a tour of the shop. Oooo! I shall have to pound him with questions. He said they were high school students. Hmmm… maybe I should get Matthew to tell about all the happenings of the shop since he is more informed than myself. Of course… he doesn’t have the time, and I do. So… I guess I’ll just bug him for the information.
hehe. Darn… he doesn’t know everything. Ahh, I’m discovering so much about my beloved brother. Although he knows ALMOST everything, he doesn’t quite know everything. Such a shame, I have been deceived for so long, thinking he knew everything.
Riiight
Have a nice day!

Hey there! Wow! I heard that someone actually read this, to my great surprise. :-O In that case, I guess I shall update.
We have been celebrating a few records the past few weeks. Last week we had grilled chicken… it was pretty good. Although the pizza is much better. But… it was very nice to have a change! I think we had 3 records in a row that we celebrated; only one each week I think it was. Yummy!!! We have a pizza party for every new record, well, that’s why it’s called a record isn’t it? Because it’s new. ha. I am repeating myself. In fact, I’m being quite repetitive.
We have pizza (and lots of it!) and white hot chocolate and coffee… and thank the Lord for blessing the business.
Great times. Another highlight is that birthday month is upon us. We have a cake for every birthday at the shop. Noah had his birthday, and then Elizabeth had hers. This coming week Denise, Olga, Jonathan and I are all having our birthdays. I think Jonathan may be more excited about my birthday than I am. Will too… seeing as I will be old enough to operate machinery. Jonathan is having plans of all the work he is going to be able to dump on me… driving the fork lift to help unload racks and put them up… I wonder how much of the stuff I’ll actually end up doing!
Speaking of racks, we have made progress on our addition. This is what the shop looks like now:
And a close up of the addition:

And on the inside:

And that is where Jonathan is going to have the new bun foot section! My Sanctuary!!! Its coming along… slow and steady. Actually a rather nice pace.
Well… I promise I will write more later. Have a great day! And God Bless.
Wow. Sorry its been so long since I wrote anything.
We are making huge progress on our addition to the shipping department! Its awesome! We’re also looking for more help… we haven’t had too much luck with that lately, which is rather sad since this is such a great place to work!
My brother Matthew has been working on collecting pictures for our new catalog. He said its a project since we have so many new products! That’s awesome! He and Dad are also working on the price list to get it more accurate. That should be good. Some prices will go up a bit and others will go down.
My little sister, Elizabeth, has taken up helping Matthew with CAD drawings! Way to go girl!
Will, one of the guys in shipping, has started a count down until my birthday… only a few more days.
