Mission Corbels
Among the vast inventory of wooden corbels provided by Osborne Wood Products, there is a selection of stunning mission-style designs. The mission style originated in the early 16th century and has remained a popular interior design theme ever since. Mission furniture components bear little ornamentation and are instead characterized by square or rectangular recessed carvings. These recessed carvings emphasize the edges of the piece, giving it a satisfying linear composition.
Our mission corbels feature impressive tapers and curves that are amplified by the bold edges. They are available in a wide variety of sizes to best suit your project, whether you are placing them underneath a countertop or using them as support for a shelf. The versatile Narrow Mission Corbel (Part #8700) can be used to accent furniture in a contemporary home, or as support underneath wet bar cabinetry in a rustic design.
If you are interested in incorporating the mission style throughout your home, try pairing mission corbels with other components within our mission collection including table legs and furniture feet. All of our wooden components can be customized to create complementary sets when giving them a matching stain or paint job. Each one is sanded to 150 grit, making finishing the piece simple. They are also available in a variety of wood types, depending on your preference.
