The phone systems are back up and running! There had been some severe thunderstorms the other night, and it turns out our problems were due to a lightning strike! We’re very grateful to our phone service team, who spent a great deal of time and energy trying to get us back up and running!

We want to thank you all for your continued patience. We’re not sure what the cause of the error was, but for the better part of this morning our phone lines were completely knocked out! We have the gentleman from our phone company out here working away trying to fix the error, but if you cannot get through, please keep trying. We are still here and doing our best to work around this situation to take care of you!
Welcome to the second installation of pictures from our new addition!

Here’s one I forgot to put up before the sheet rock pictures. This is the sound proofing that went up in Leon’s office. It is Audimute, and it is made of recycled cotton materials. It contains no fiberglass. We have several “sound absorption” products included in the new addition; which may indicate the poor acoustics of the open-office situation we had before.

Here the primer is going on the now-sanded drywall. Paint and primer were both Sherwin Williams GreenSure products. GreenSure is zero V.O.C., Low Oder, non-silica paint which is also anti-microbial, to help protect the paint film.

This is the ceiling framework. The silver tubing you see up there is from our heating/air system (as is the square shaped vent you can see in the back).

Here a gentleman is painting the entryway. It always amazes me how much lighter paint looks when it is wet.
Stay tuned, more pictures to follow in the next few days!
