Well, today’s pictures of a product in use come not from a customer - but from an Osborne Wood Products employee!  Martha brought in some lovely fall decorations which she had made using the 4001, our 3 Inch Fluted Bun.  It took most of us a moment to realize that these glossy orange pumpkins amid autumn leaves were actually the bun foot we know so well.  It was Cindy who was the first to notice.  Now, typically we show our products in use as furniture, but we are well aware of the fact that some of our customers are hobbyists, and some of those hobbyists are more proficient in woodworking for the sake of art, as opposed to functionality.  So, in acknowledgment of (and appreciation for) those customers, here are your pictures of this week’s product!

The shape of this foot, and the spacing of the flutes, do give the 4001 a perfect pumpkin shape.  With the right color, this piece - which usually finds itself playing a much subtler role in the landscape - is center stage, and looks exactly like a small pumpkin!
